powered by the people festivAl
We are really excited to announce the Powered By the People Festival! A partnership between Newbigin Community Trust and ourselves, Motherland Music, with the aim of celebrating our local community in Winson Green, and the amazing talent on our doorstep. Expect music from local musicians such as the Notebenders, food stalls from local businesses, arts and crafts stalls, and much more!
Date: 28th June
Time: 12pm-10pm
Venue: Newbigin Community Trust, 143 Lodge Road, Birmingham, B18 5BU.
Entry: £1 per entry, or £1 for one family
Please bring cash, as many of our stall holders may not be able to accommodate card payments.
Are you an artist, musician, or do you run a local business? Sign up for a stall or performance at the festival! We are particularly looking for food and crafts stalls, and are open to a range of performances. It will be £5 hire for a stall. To sign up use the QR code below or contact Megan at Newbigin Community Trust on 07769036498.
Thank you to Birmingham City Council Cultural Action Areas Programme funded by Enterprise Zone, which has supported us and enabled us to fund this project.
